Markus Talvio is a Ph.D. (Educational Psychology), post-doc researcher, a consultant and a supervisor of work. He has gathered experience from various jobs in the private and public sector as well as from NGOs. Teaching and its new, better methods and welfare have been in the center of all his studies and teaching career. Supervision of work has given him glimpses to the world of kindergartens, theater, youth and social services, congregations etc. He has also lectured and taught for companies of various fields. He has teaching experience in Sweden, Germany, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Chezh Republic, Spain, China, Lebanon and Hungary.

What is new in Finnish education?

Professor Kirsti Lonka, PhD, is Professor of Educational Psychology at University of Helsinki, Finland (2005-). Kirsti is an expert in innovative learning methods (such as phenomenon-based learning and 21st century skills) and learning environments. Kirsti is also a popular keynote speaker around the world. She has published more than hundred refereed articles, conference papers and book chapters. She has also published plenty of text books and popular writings.  At the moment, she is working on innovations in higher education and engaging learning as well as working environments (ELE).
